Fed by the Rumford River, The Norton Reservoir spans 530-acres through both Norton and Mansfield, Massachusetts. It’s located in southeastern MA, near the intersections of 495 and 140, and just a short drive from RI. It is a fairly shallow lake that features many coves and a series of small islands. The tranquil Reservoir provides an ideal setting for a variety of recreational opportunities including kayaking, fishing, swimming, bird watching and more. The area is also home to a variety of wildlife – recent sightings include bald eagles and ospreys. The Reservoir also offers great fishing, with large-mouth bass, pickerel and panfish.
